Customising assumptions
=======================

assumptions can be used to capture any pattern from plain text files and insert matching items into any template.

The following sections describe the built-in log templates available from assumptions and how you can define a custom templates to provide relevant information along side your collected log items. Additionally, it details how to specify your own patterns to collect custom ``LogItem`` types.
